Intercessory Prayers was taken by Evang. V.I Akinpelumi, while the sermon was by the Rev. Sunday Oladoyinbo.
The preacher mentioned the significance of the day in the life of a believer, being a Trinity Sunday.
After establishing the relationship between the topic of the day, “THE TRION GOD at work” and the significance of Trinity Sunday, he went into the sermon proper.
Referring to John 14 vs 10-11 the preacher mentioned that even Jesus Christ confirmed that the works he does was not by him but by the father who works in Him. He further stated that Christians believe in one God who works or manifest in different ways and the existence of God the father, the son and the Holy spirit should not be misinterpreted.
He said amongst others, that God manifest in different ways such as son and Holy spirit because ideally, no one can see God, hence He needed to come in the form of the Son so that we can relate with him.
He said John 1:1 established the fact that at creation, all three were present. He said in real life situations, a person is as good as what he says with his mouth. Hence if Jesus is the word of God, then Jesus is God, and the spirit of God plays the important role of being always everywhere. He closed by praying that God continues to manifest in our lives in Jesus’ name.
